Multichannel control
Purpose

The Multichannel control panel enables you to adjust and memorize camera settings for individual color channels in preparation for acquiring images in more than one color channel. Use in conjunction with Enable multichannel acquisition and Acquire image. |
The Multichannel control panel is a dockable window.
Prepare for multichannel acquisitions

Click Multichannel control on the Acquire or Workspace ribbon.
The Multichannel control panel opens.

(optional) Review your Multichannel setup. Click the setup button to open the Multichannel Setup window and:

On the All Acquisitions tab, verify that device command sequences are set up and enabled.

On the Multichannel acquires tabs, review that the appropriate color channels are enabled.

Click OK to close the Multichannel Setup window.

- Check the box to Remember Video Settings in the Multichannel control panel.

Adjust camera settings for each color channel:

Click the button for a channel (e.g., Red, Green, Blue, Four, Five, Six).

Adjust the exposure in the camera settings until a fully balanced camera histogram is achieved.

Repeat a and b for each color channel that will be acquired.

Because Remember Video Settings is active, the camera settings for each channel are memorized and Stereo Investigator will apply them during image acquisition.

Click Enable multichannel in the Capture section of the Acquire ribbon before acquiring your image(s)
