Z meter

Purpose

Use the Z meter to view the cursor location in the Z orientation; it is helpful as you navigate or trace. To open the Z meter, click Z meter on the Workspace ribbon.

Procedure

To focus (move in the Z orientation), scroll the mouse wheel or use the PgUp/PgDown keys on the keyboard. The number at the top of the Z meter indicates the cursor location in the Z orientation. The cursor location is also shown as a horizontal line in the Z meter.
