Overview
With Neurolucida Explorer software, you can visualize and select data in an enhanced 3D environment and conduct a robust set of analyses on reconstructed neurons and other structures/markers in your data files.

Neurolucida Explorer quick start

Open the data file you created in Neurolucida, Neurolucida 360, or Vesselucida 360.

Use your mouse to zoom, pan and rotate.

Select what you want to analyze.

Run individual analyses of interest or modify display settings. For example:

Perform branched structure, spine, puncta, varicosity, and microvasculature analyses, among many others.

Use the Explore ribbon to visualize data using color.

Display and modify scale bars.

Once you have determined appropriate analyses and settings, use Batch analysis to generate multiple Excel reports quickly for single or multiple data files.

The computer-processing power needed to run Neurolucida Explorer depends on the size, compression, and structure of the image and data files that you are evaluating. We recommend that you review the computer-system requirements before you start working with Neurolucida Explorer or if the software crashes while you are using it.
