Where Is

Concept

Use the Where Is tool to find the current field of view relative to the entire tracing.

  • The view zooms out so that all parts of the tracing are visible and a dashed rectangle shows the current field of view. If the current field of view is very small, the box around it blinks.
  • Live video and AutoMove are temporarily turned off. They are restored when you exit Where Is.
  • All contours are re-scaled, while the size at which markers display may not change.
  • Imported or acquired images are still visible.

Procedure

Click the Where Is button in the View section of the Trace ribbon to enter Where Is mode.

  • To zoom in, hold down CTRL while dragging the mouse to draw a rectangle; the cursor changes to a magnifying glass.

  • To zoom out, right-click and select Zoom Out.

  • To return to the original view, click anywhere in the tracing window, click the Where Is button again, or press the ESCkey on your keyboard. Neurolucida 360 software returns to the task that was active before you clicked into Where Is mode.
