Biolucida for instructors

Administrative account

As an administrator, you can manage all aspects of Biolucida: users, images and interface.

• Manage students (Admin>Users).
• Synchronize image folders stored locally via tracked directories (Admin>Filetracker).
• Manage image information (description, objective lens, tags).
• Navigate images (zoom, pan, macro view).
• Designate regions of interest (bookmark tool).
• Annotate images.
• Organize the images available through the tracked directories into classrooms.
• Provide access to the images (by granting permission to view classrooms).

Viewer account with Maintaine/Full role

You have the ability to create and share image folders (classrooms).

• Navigate images (zoom, pan, macro view).
• Designate regions of interest (bookmark tool).
• Annotate images.
• Manage image information (description, objective lens, tags).
• Organize images into classrooms.
• Provide access to the images (by granting permission to view classrooms or by using bookmarks).
• Download images from the browser.
