AutoSpine is an automatic spine detection module. It only works on traced neurons.
It is generally designed for high-magnification images (60x, 100x) captured with a confocal microscope, and optionally deconvolved.
AutoSpine works with both automatically and manually traced neurons.
If you are working with manually traced neurons, the thickness of the neurons doesn't need to be exact because AutoSpine performs an estimate of the thickness and saves it in the trace model.
