If you selected Test on a few points on a branch or Test on one whole branch in Step 2: Quick-Test Setup:
This method is quicker than detecting spines on the entire image, since AutoSpine only detects spines within the selected subset.
Once you are satisfied with the detection results on your test region, click the Detect All Spines button.
The Run Test button is only visible when one of these options was selected.
Use the slider or type a value.
A lower value may detect fewer spines.

To measure a specific distance:
The outer range is the distance from the traced external boundary of the branch to the distal edge of the spine.
To measure a specific distance:
Select this checkbox to display the branch process thickness so that you can measure Surface clearance and Outer range.
If you chose one of the test options in Step 2, use this button to detect the spines for the points or whole branch previously selected.
Automatically detects all spines based on the Detection Settings above.
Removes all previously detected spines.
You can switch between the 3 options without running the detection process again.
