Acquire image
Purpose

Acquire a single-channel image using the camera's current field of view with the Acquire Image command, located on the Acquire ribbon. |
Procedure

Click Live Image on the Acquire ribbon.This puts Neurolucida in Live-Image mode, meaning that the view from the microscope camera is displayed onscreen.

Click Acquire image; the following will happen:-
Neurolucida displays the image you've just acquired onscreen (Show Images mode).
- The image you just acquired is added to the Image Organizer as an unsaved image.

If Background Correction is enabled, background correction will be applied to the image.
The coordinates of the image relative to the reference point are saved in the data file.
If a reference point has not been placed before acquiring an image, it will automatically be placed in top left corner of the acquired image.

To acquire another image, repeat the steps: Click Live Image, then click Acquire image.
