Z meter

Purpose

Use the Z meter to view the cursor location in the Z orientation; it is helpful as you navigate or trace.

Showing the Z meter

To open the Z meter, click the Z meter button in the Workspace ribbon, Views section.

Using the Z meter

  • To focus (move in the Z orientation), scroll the mouse wheel or use the PgUp/PgDown keys.
  • The number at the top of the Z meter indicates the cursor location in the Z orientation
  • The cursor location is also shown as a horizontal line in the Z meter.
