Automatic object detection

This program can automatically detect, outline and mark objects (i.e., entities with distinct boundaries) in acquired images via three tools:

While these tools can help with your work, they cannot replace the human eye. Once the process is completed, please examine the outlined and marked objects for accuracy.

Virtual image mode: Contours which fall on a seam cannot be completely traced and are highlighted red after automatic object detection.

Presets

The three tools provide the option to use presets in order to apply the same parameters to multiple images.

You can save and edit presets, and load previously saved presets.

Saving or deleting presets

1. Click Presets and select Edit Presets.
2. In the Save/Update dialog box
   • Type a name for the preset, and then click Save.

   OR

   • Select an existing preset and click Delete to remove it.
     

Loading an existing preset

• Click Presets and select a preset from the list.
