Preferences: Formatting

Purpose

The Formatting preferences panel provides customization options for measurement units and numerical precision.

In NeuroInfo, the default units are microns (µm) for size and degrees for angles. This preference panel provides alternate options for measurement unit display. Similarly, you can choose to display 1‑6 significant digits and standard or scientific notation.

Access formatting preferences from File > Preferences > Formatting.
