Opening and closing images

- To open a single image, click a thumbnail image once.
- To open multiple images
- Select the images by checking the boxes near the thumbnails.
- Click the Open button.

Access to the browser may have been disabled by the administrator.

Only available when bookmarks have been created for navigation. See Designating regions of interest with bookmarks for details.
- In the Bookmarks window, click the name of a bookmark (the name is preceded by an arrow head).
- To see the Bookmarks window, click the Bookmarks icon in the top menu.
- To see the Bookmarks window, click the Bookmarks icon in the top menu.
- Click the name of an annotation (the name is preceded by a bullet).

- Click Slide>Open Local Slide.
- Select a file in the Choose files to open dialog box, and click Open.
OR
- Drag and drop an image file or multiple image files from a folder to Biolucida.
NOTE: Loading local images from a mapped network drive or local file server can take longer. Local images may also be slower to navigate. To avoid this, upload the local files to a Biolucida server or copy the local files to your hard drive.
