SRS image series workflow

Use this workflow to acquire images with a systematic random sampling scheme for offline stereological analysis. This is particularly useful for fluorescent tissue.

 

This method is NOT appropriate for counting cells in tissue.

Procedure

1. On a calibrated system, set up the slide with tissue at a low magnification.
2. Click Acquire>Display>Live Image to view the tissue on the screen.
3. When the tissue looks as desired (adequate white balance, light, background, etc.), select Acquire>Workflows>SRS image series.
4. Follow the workflow's steps.
