Slide Loader setup 14: Select slides to acquire

Select the slides to be acquired.

 

New selection

1. Select all the slides (i.e., all the cassettes) available, or select specific cassettes.
2. Click Select -- Stereo Investigator scans each cassette selected before loading.

Select unprocessed slides -- Available when slides from the previous selection set were not acquired successfully. There are several options for the type of slides to include: Unprocessed, Being processed, Failed, Canceled.

In the example:

• Canceled: 1—One slide was in the process of being acquired, but the process was canceled.
• Unprocessed: 2—2 slides were never processed.

 

● If slides failed to be acquired and the conditions for acquisition remain the same, do not include them; they are likely to fail again.
● If slides are labeled as Being processed, the most likely causes are a power outage or a program crash.
