Define AutoMove

Click the Define AutoMove button from the Workspace ribbon.

• Drag the mouse to draw a rectangle from top left to bottom right. The new AutoMove area is applied immediately.

Setting the AutoMove area to encompass the central 2/3 of the screen typically reduces visual confusion when the stage executes a move to center a chosen peripheral point.

• To cancel the operation, click Define AutoMove again.
• If the AutoMove area is defined "backwards" (dragging from the lower right to the upper left corner), each point that is drawn is centered immediately, whether it is inside or outside the AutoMove area.
