Joy Track

Purpose

Enable Joy Track to maintain the alignment between tracing (e.g., contours and markers) and traced tissue when you move the stage with the joystick.

Stereo Investigator tracks stage movement in (X, Y, Z) to maintain alignment.

Setting Joy Track to remain on

  1. Go to the File > Hardware setup > Stage panel.
  2. Click the Settings button.
  3. In Settings, check the box for Joy Track always on.

Starting Joy Track

To start Joy Track, Click the Joy Track button; it's located in both the Move and Trace ribbons.

Exiting Joy Track

To exit Joy Track, do one of the following:

  • Click the Joy Track button to deselect it.
  • Right-click in the main window and:
    • To disable the joystick, select End Joystick Mode.
    • To switch to Joy Free, select Switch To Joy Free.
