Tree intervals (branched structure)

Procedure

1. Select trees.
2. Click Analyze > Structure > Branched Structure Analysis.
3. Click the Tree Interval tab.
4. Select a type (Axon | Dendrite | Apical Dendrite) and modify the bin size.
5. Click OK. A Tortuous distance report is generated.

Analysis results

Start distance / End distance: 0.00 marks the origin of the tree. Start and end point for the interval is shown.

Markers: Quantity of markers within the interval

Spines: Quantity of spines within the interval

Synapses: Quantity of synapses within the interval

Total Distance: The sum of all branch lengths within the interval
