Tree Points analysis
Purpose
Provides data for individually selected tree points. For more on point selection see Selecting and hiding structures.
Analysis results
Tree: The identification number of the tree branch the segment belongs to.
Point index: The point identification number. The numbers are assigned based on the line of points in each segment and the points in the table are grouped by segment. Therefor, there may be gaps in the numbers, or they may be out of order depending on which points were selected for analysis.
Point type:
- BP: The beginning point of a segment (this is the origin point of the main branch for the first segment, and node points for all other segments).
- CP: A center point on a segment. It describes any point other than a beginning (BP) or an ending (EP).
- EP: The ending point of a segment. This will be either the point just before a node, or an actual branch end.
Coordinate: The X,Y,Z location of the point.
Diameter (µm): The diameter of the point.
