Marker totals (branched structure analysis)

Purpose

Marker totals analysis reports the quantity, density, and average diameter of each marker type per branch segment according to the branch order selected in the Analysis branch ordering dropdown menu. If you used the spine toolbar in Neurolucida or Neurolucida 360, or Spines mode in the 3D environment of Neurolucida 360 to indicate spines instead of using markers, use the Branched Structure Analysis: Spines analysis.

Analysis results

Type: Marker type placed in Neurolucida, Neurolucida 360, or Vesselucida 360.

Density: [Quantity of markers on the segment] / [Length of the segment]

Average diameter: Average diameter of the markers on the segment.
