Branch angle analysis

Branch Angle Analysischaracterizes the direction branches take after a node.

Select Branch Angle Analysis from the Structure drop-down menu on the Analyze ribbon. Neurolucida Explorer reports the following three angle analyses:

Analysis results

Each tree is given an arbitrary number beginning at 1.

Multiple rows are listed for each tree number: one row for each branch leaving a node.

Example: If a node has 2 branches emanating from it, there are 2 rows, one for each branch.
