Line thickness
You can control the line thickness with File>Preferences>Cursor>Circular Cursor Size, the + and - keys on the numeric keyboard, or the mouse wheel.
- To enable the display of the line thickness, go to File>Preferences>Tracing and check Display thickness under View.
- To hide the thickness of the lines used to trace (i.e., recorded thickness), click Trace>View>Thickness.
- To increase the transparency of the tracing, go to File>Preferences>Tracing and use the slider under Tracing Transparency in the View section.
The lines you see are representations of three-dimensional cylinders and frusta (i.e., sections of a cone, like a cylinder, but tapered). When the 3-dimensional tracing is displayed on the flat screen, the result is a thick line if thickness is turned on.
