Edit Varicosities Panel (3D)

Procedure overview

To edit varicosities and see all the varicosity-editing options:

Select the color channel used for varicosity detection using either the Channel panel in the 3D environment or the Image Adjustment tool in the Main window.
Click Varicosity
Select the varicosities to be edited.
then click Edit

There are multiple ways to select varicosities for editing:

Click the Select All button to select all detected varicosities.
Hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard and drag your mouse to select all varicosities in the marquee (selection box) that forms.
Click a single varicosity with your mouse or hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click multiple varicosities to select.

Selected varicosities are displayed with white wireframes.

Click the Remove button or press the Delete key on your keyboard to delete selected varicosities.

You can't undo this action if you have selected all varicosities.

Adjust varicosity display : Drag the slider to make varicosities that are set to Show as Ball appear larger.
Show as drop-down menu: Select an option to display selected varicosities as Ball, Solid, or Wireframe.
Color picker: Click the colored square to display the color picker and choose a color to apply to the selected varicosities.
Transparency slider: Adjust the transparency of selected varicosities in their assigned color channel or when all color channels are displayed. The transparency setting specified here will be ignored if a different color channel is displayed, however, the transparency of varicosities and any other traced structures associated with undisplayed color channels can be controlled using the Trace Opacity slider in the Channel panel.
Smooth: Check the box and drag the slider to enable or disable smoothing.
