Aligning tracings and specimens
Purpose
Use the tools on this page:
- In conjunction with the Serial Section Manager section alignment
- To re-align your tracing after removing the slide from the microscope or restarting the software
If your tracings fail to align with your live image as you move around while tracing, check to make sure that the software lens selected from the drop-down menu matches the objective in use on your microscope.
If the correct software lens is already selected, your system may need to be calibrated.
An alignment tool might:
- move the current section only
- move images in the current section
- move the reference point
