Use External Image Source
If your system is configured to drive a confocal microscope, use the Use Laser for Acquires command instead.
Use this command when you plan on loading images from an external image source.
This command indicates to the system that you are NOT using the image size associated with the camera configured for the system; the live image mode is automatically turned off.
Prerequisites
- You are controlling the stage.
- In the External Image Source Setup panel, you have already entered the dimensions of the external image source and checked the box Loading from an external source.
Acquisition
- Click Acquire>Capture>Use Externalto enable the command.
- Acquire the image. The program applies the settings defined via External Image Source Setup.
- The display of the acquired image is turned off so that you can maintain control of the stage. Use Synchronize Stage and Images to display the image.
