Maximum / Minimum intensity projection

To visualize an entire image stack in a single plane, use the Maximum intensity projection with light-on-dark images (e.g., fluorescence) or Minimum intensity projectionwith dark-on-light images (e.g., brightfield). To display the projection, BrainMaker software identifies the maximum (or minimum) intensity value of each pixel along the z axis for projection onto the 2D plane.

Click the Min (or Max) projection button, located in the View section of the Image ribbon, to display the projection rather than the original image.
To view the original image stack again, click the icon again.
