Managing users (Administrator only)

In the User Management panel, click the button to display the Add New User panel.

• User Type—If you select Viewer, you can define additional permissions that are unique to each later (see About Biolucida users).
• Use Workspace—Workspaces enable you to customize the views and functionalities in Biolucida (Medical Education).
  • To create a workspace, see Workspaces.

1. In the User Management panel, select users by checking the checkboxes next to their usernames.
2. Click the button .

1. In the User Management panel , click the + button near User Groups.
2. Enter a name for the new group and click Save Group.
3. Check the boxes corresponding to the users you want to add to the new group.
4. Drag any selected username to the new group.
5. Click the name of the group to manage the group (view and remove users).

You can define a default user group that all users belong to at any given time from the System Options panel.

1. In the browser, click the Edit button in the Classrooms toolbar to display the Edit window.
2. In the Edit window, click the Users (or Groups for user groups) tab to the right of Classrooms Permissions.
3. Click the Assign User (or Assign Group for a user group) button.
4. Select a name from the User drop-down menu (or user group name from the Group drop-down menu).
5. Select a role from the Role drop-down menu.
   • Full/Maintainer allows users to access the Edit functionalities for a specific Classroom.

To add another user or group, click the Assign User or Assign Group blue button and repeat steps 4-5.

In the User Management panel, Check the box next to a username, then click the Deactivate User button.
