Movement Resolution
When you navigate to a different region of the image, the new region may appear pixelated before being displayed at full resolution. This is because Biolucida loads a lower resolution version of the region before loading the full resolution. This allows for faster response.
To modify the default navigation settings, adjust the Movement Resolution:
- Click Tools>Viewer Options to open the Options panel.
- The Image tab is displayed. Use the slider under Movement Resolution.
Movement Resolution options
- Speed: If you set the slider to the left, closest to Speed, the area of interest is loaded at low resolution; loading is faster.
- Quality: If you set the slider to the right, closest to Quality, the area of interest is loaded at full resolution; loading is slower.
- Disable higher qualities: Images are never displayed at full resolution while you navigate.
