Track Summary
Mathematical average for each worm:
- Track length: Length of the center point trajectory
- Peristaltic track length: Length of forward motion - (minus) length of reverse motion (red) over the total number of frames tracked.
- Absolute peristaltic length: Length of forward motion + length of reverse motion (red) over the total number of frames tracked.
centerpoint speed (µm/s): Track length divided by time
Peristaltic speed (µm/s): Absolute peristaltic track length divided by time
Shortest distance between centroids at the beginning and the end of a worm track (trajectory)
Total time (in seconds) of contiguous tracked frames for a given worm
Number of body bends based on the Turning Report threshold conditions defined in the Bending angle Mid-point analysis.
Total distance the worm travels forward/in reverse.
Total from Reversals analysis
Total time the worm spends traveling in reverse/forward.
Number of pirouettes: Number of occurrences when there is a reversal followed immediately by an omega bend.
Pirouette time: Average duration of a pirouette
Depending on what type of motion was selected for tracking in the Mobility analysis, cumulative times for mobility reversal, forward, moving, and idle times may be listed.
