What's new with v.2018?
Detection & tracking
- Adjustable head/tail detection: We've added new criteria for head/tail assignment (i.e., geometry and bending amplitude) and you now have the option to use a slider in the Detection panel to select the weight of the criteria used for detection. You can still rely on morphometric data (the criteria used in previous versions) for head/tail assignment.
- Live tracking: We've added a live tracking functionality so that you can track worms over an extended period of time without capturing videos.
- Tracking performance: We've improved performance for swimming worms with an enhanced worm-to-track assignment algorithm.
Editing
Track editing (via Repair tab) has been enhanced.
- We provide an easier method to delete an entire track via the Delete track button.
- We've added the option to undo a deleted track, joined track or split track via Undo button (you can only undo the last operation).
