Total sites: Total number of sites automatically identified by the program.
by percent: Enter a percentage number smaller than the value identified in the alert. The program displays a number of sites derived from the percentage you entered; this number is an approximation to give you a better sense of the magnitude of the focus map.
by amount: Enter a number smaller than the value identified in the alert.
Click the Refocus button. The stage navigates to each selected site and the Focus Site dialog box opens. Bring the site into focus and click OK .
If you check Show heat map, the focus grid is displayed with a colored interpolated focus map.
MANUALLY, EVERY: Check if it is necessary to manually focus the tissue periodically throughout the scan.
Enter the number of images between each manual focus site.The acquisition stops at the specified increments and the program prompts you to bring the tissue into focus before continuing.
If this is being used simultaneously with a focus map, the remaining tiles on the triangulated map will be recalculated after each manual focus.
