Resample Disector

The Resample Disector probe is designed to identify the effect of tissue perturbations in cell counts in Z. It can help you identify the appropriate guard zones and disector height.

Prerequisites

• One complete probe run or a probe run in progress
• Microsoft Excel 2003 or later

Procedure

1. Click Probes>Stereology results>Resample Disector.
2. Highlight the probe runs you wish to resample to select them.
3. Click the Resample button to view the Section Interval window.
4. Change the interval and click OK. The program begins the resample oversample process.
5. When complete, Stereo Investigator Whole Slide Edition opens a MS Excel workbook with the results.
