Diagnostic data transfer

Context

The first time that you open Stereo Investigator Whole Slide Edition software, or create a new User Profile, a window will open that asks you to allow us to transfer diagnostic data.

• Click the button to indicate whether you Allow or Don't allow data transfer each time that you open Stereo Investigator Whole Slide Edition software.

About diagnostic data transfer

We use the information to enhance technical-support capabilities and to assist with software licensing.

Your choice will not affect the function of Stereo Investigator Whole Slide Edition software.

• You can change this setting at any time in the Miscellaneous section at the bottom of Display Preferences (click File > Preferences > Display).

If you choose to Allow diagnostic data transfer, the following information will be sent to MBF Bioscience each time that you open Stereo Investigator Whole Slide Edition software:

• Stereo Investigator Whole Slide Edition software authorization method (dongle or license key)

• License key

• Authorized software modules

• Stereo Investigator Whole Slide Edition software version

Computer information

• IP address (ipv4 and ipv6)

• Service tag or serial number

• Number of CPU cores

• Amount of RAM

• Video card model and amount of VRAM

• Timezone
