Acquire image

Acquire Image acquires a single channel image using the camera's current field of view.:

  1. Click Display>Live Image.
  2. Click Capture>Acquire image.

After the image has been acquired:

  • The program is no longer in Live Image mode; what you see on the screen is the acquired image.
  • The image you just acquired has been added to the Image Organizer as an unsaved image.
  • If Background Correction is enabled, Background Correction will be applied to the image.

 

The coordinates of the image relative to the reference point are saved in the data file.

 

To acquire another image, repeat the steps:

  1. Click Display>Live Image.
  2. Click Capture>Acquire image.
