SRS image stack workflow — Step 1
Subject Information
Type your name, the subject of the study, and any notes pertaining to this study or animal.
Use Saved Sampling Parameters
Click Yes to load previous sampling parameters.
- Click the button next to the Name text box to display the Workflow configuration browser dialog box.
- Select the appropriate Configuration (parameters) from the Parameters set.
Enter Serial Section Information
- # of sections to count: Enter the number of sections to be sampled, that is, total number of sections through the region divided by the section interval. Note that that number is an approximation since the starting section is randomized. You can add sections later in step 3: Region(s) of interest.
- Section’s cut thickness: Enter the thickness that the tissue was cut at.
- Section evaluation interval: Enter the section evaluation interval of the tissue.
- Starting section number: Leave it as 1 (you can alternatively click Randomize for a random starting section number).
- Z-value of first section: Leave it at 0 (you can alternatively enter the Z distance if you know it).
