Image Scaling (and Placement)

When you open an image, you might see one of these two windows: Image Scaling or Image Scaling and Placement.

Image Scaling can be used to override the default scaling (i.e., the scaling associated with the current lens) to apply the correct scaling information (i.e., settings at time of acquisition).

Image Scaling and Placement appears when Microlucida "suspects" that the image placement should be re-calculated.

 

If you are loading an image from an external image source, use External Image Source Setup before loading the image.

X and Y Scaling Applied to Images

By default, Microlucida applies the scaling settings associated with the current lens.

For some acquired images, you may need to override the default scaling to apply the correct scaling information (i.e., settings at time of acquisition).
