Diagnostic data collection

Context

The first time that you open BrainMaker software, or create a new User Profile, a window will open that asks you to allow us to collect diagnostic data.

• Click the button to indicate whether you Allow or Don't allow data collection each time that you open BrainMaker software.

About diagnostic data collection

We use the information we collect to enhance technical-support capabilities and to assist with software licensing.

Your choice will not affect the function of BrainMaker software.

• Permission to allow or not allow MBF Bioscience to collect diagnostic data is associated with the User Profile.

• You can change this setting at any time in the Miscellaneous section at the bottom of Display Preferences (click File > Preferences > Display).

Data collected

If you choose to Allow diagnostic data collection, the following information will be sent to MBF Bioscience each time that you open BrainMaker software:

Software information

• BrainMaker software authorization method (dongle or license key)

• License key

• Authorized software modules

• BrainMaker software version

Computer information

• IP address (ipv4 and ipv6)

• Service tag or serial number

• Number of CPU cores

• Amount of RAM

• Video card model and amount of VRAM

• Timezone
