Managing tracked directories (Administrator only)

Tracked directories synchronize/provide access to images stored locally through a Biolucida server. They are managed using Filetracker.

Since the content of tracked directories is only visible to the administrator(s), the next step is to organize images in collections to make the images potentially accessible to other users.

ClosedAdding tracked directories
  1. Select Admin>Filetracker.
  2. Click the button.
  3. Enter a name and the path.
  4. Set the privacy level to define who can view the tracked directory.
  5. Optional: grant specific users the permission to view or maintain the tracked directory.
ClosedDeleting tracked directories
  1. Select Admin>Filetracker.
  2. Click the button near the name of the tracked directory to delete.
ClosedGranting/changing users permission to access tracked directories.
  1. In the browser, click the name of a tracked directory to select it.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. In the Edit window, add or modify permissions under Individual User Permissions.

Note that the Filetracker displays the operating system.
