Viewing and adding tags
Tags are categories assigned to images. They are useful to retrieve relevant image files.
You can see tags in Details View in the browser. 
If you have access to the Image Information panel, you can also see the tags associated with a single image in that panel.
Viewing all existing tags
In the Browser window, click the Tags or Tag Matrix button. 
- Tags: Biolucida displays all the available tags
. - Tag Matrix: Combine existing tags for a more effective filter.
Searching for an image using tags
- In the Browser window, type a tag in the Search bar and click Search
. - To search multiple tags, use a comma between the tags. Example:
- To see only results containing both terms, select Search all images with value (AND). Example:

Associating tags with images
- In the browser, select the images you want to add tags to by checking the boxes next to the thumbnails.
- Click the Edit Selected

- Choose from the list or type a new tag.
Managing tags (admin only)
- From the browser window, click Admin>Tags.
- Add, delete, replace or group tags.
